Agreement

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using Your Sports BFF, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Who can use S*BFF

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to subscribe to a paid plan. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

Our service

Your Sports BFF delivers sports news, culture, and related content primarily via SMS text message. We offer free and paid subscription tiers. Content, features, and pricing may change from time to time — we will let you know about material changes in advance where practical.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid subscriptions (VIP and All-Access) renew automatically each month until you cancel
• You authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the amount of your subscription
• Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes, which may apply
• You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Resell, republish, or redistribute the content we send you without our permission
• Use the service for any unlawful or harmful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt our service
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

Our content

All content delivered through Your Sports BFF, including text messages, articles, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Your Sports BFF and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may enjoy the content personally, but you may not copy, modify, or distribute it.

Referral program

We may offer a referral program that rewards you for inviting friends. Rewards are subject to the specific terms posted on our referral page. We may change, pause, or end the referral program at any time. Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be combined with other offers.

SMS program terms

The BFF Brief and related text messages are delivered through our SMS program. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to our SMS opt-in disclosure at signup, you give your express written consent to receive recurring automated promotional and transactional text messages from Your Sports BFF at the mobile number you provided, sent via an autodialer. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of any other part of our service.

• Eligibility: You must be the account holder or have authorization to use the mobile number you provide. You represent that you are 18 or older.
• Program description: The BFF Brief is a sports news and culture text service sent on weekdays. Subscribers on paid tiers (VIP, All-Access) receive additional messages depending on their subscription level, such as weekly extras, breaking news alerts, and weekend recaps.
• Frequency: Message frequency varies by subscription tier and content schedule. Typical volume ranges from 5 to 20 messages per month.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Any charges from your mobile carrier are your responsibility, not ours.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a single confirmation text, after which no further messages will be sent, except as required by law.
• Help: Reply HELP to any message for help information, or email hello@yoursportsbff.com for support.
• Carriers: The Your Sports BFF SMS program works with all major U.S. and Canadian carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and Virgin Mobile. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Delivery: We work to deliver messages reliably, but we cannot guarantee delivery time or that every message will be received. Network conditions, carrier filtering, and device settings can affect delivery.
• Privacy: Your mobile number and message preferences are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

Your Sports BFF is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make the content accurate, timely, and delightful, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content. Nothing in the BFF Brief is financial, betting, legal, or medical advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your Sports BFF and its owners, employees, and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us during that period.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Your Sports BFF from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Your Sports BFF is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
